Events by Shelby was born out of my lifelong obsession with the finer details. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a natural niche for organization, structure, and timelines. Where some see a massive puzzle of overwhelming logistics, I see a beautiful plan waiting to come together. I openly channel my OCD into my execution—turning my perfectionist streak into my ultimate superpower for event planning.
Where passion meets flawless execution—that’s where I live and breathe. I am a firm believer that the magic of an event is in the details you don't see, ensuring that everything behind the scenes runs seamlessly. At the end of the day, this work isn't just about spreadsheets and schedules for me; it's because I deeply, truly love LOVE.
My ultimate goal is simple: to shoulder the stress, anticipate the unthought-of, and execute every detail perfectly so that you and your family can be entirely, beautifully present. When your day arrives, I want you to focus on the moments that matter, while I handle everything else.
Based in the heart of the Treasure Valley, I’m a proud mom, an outdoor enthusiast, and a lover of a good home-cooked meal. Seeing a couple and their family truly get to let go and enjoy their own celebration is exactly why I do what I do.

If I have one piece of advice, hire a wedding coordinator! Shelby was an absolute god send! I can’t stress this enough! I was a complete deer-in-the-headlights with no idea how to pull it all together by myself. She stepped in and handled it with ease and grace. From organizing seating arrangements, to directing photos so no time was lost, she kept everything running seamlessly. She made sure people were where they needed to be, kept the entire day on schedule, and was constantly checking in with vendors and ensured they received the tips I set aside. Because of her, I was able to be fully present and enjoy my daughter’s wedding. The day was perfect, because of her! Thank you Shelby, from the bottom of my heart!
